What is GU-ART?

GU-ART is the primary mechanism for merit-based admission to Post Graduate programmes.

• Ranking vs. Pass/Fail: GU-ART is purely a ranking tool. Your undergraduate marks verify your eligibility, but your seat allocation is dictated entirely by your performance in the GU-ART.
• The “Other University” Rule: For candidates from universities other than Goa University, admissions are often based on a first-come-first-serve priority using either GU-ART scores or PG-CUET (NTA) scores, subject to availability.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the GU-ART examination, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination for admission to undergraduate courses. For postgraduate courses, the candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

GU-ART Exam Pattern
