Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for GLAT 2024, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the course you intend to apply for. Here are the eligibility requirements based on the courses offered by Geeta Institute of Law.

For B.A LL.B/BBA LL.B 5 years Program:

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks. Students passing in the year 2024 are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants must be below 20 years of age as of July 1, 2024, for General category, and 22 years of age for SC/ST/OBC category.

For LL.B 3 years Program:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks is required. Students passing in the year 2024 are eligible to apply.

For LL.M 2 years Program:

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination, i.e., LL.B (or);
  • Completion of a Five-Year Integrated LLB (Hons.) or any other equivalent examination. Students graduating in the year 2024 are eligible to apply.

The application form for GLAT 2024 is available in both online and offline modes. The process for applying through each mode differs. Follow the steps below to fill out the GLAT 2024 Application Form:

Online:

Step 1 – Visit the official website of Geeta Institute of Law.
Step 2 – Click on the “Apply Online” link.
Step 3 – Click on the “Create Account” link. If you are already registered, then sign in.
Step 4 – For newly registering candidates, enter your basic details.
Step 5 – Click on the “Register Me” button.

Offline:

Step 1 – Visit the official website www.geetalawcollege.in.
Step 2 – Download the application form by clicking on the “Apply Offline” link.
Step 3 – Fill in all the required details on the form. Attach all the necessary enclosures.

Application Fee:

The application fee can be paid online or offline according to your preferred mode of form submission.

  • For online form submission, an amount of Rs. 1500/- is required.
  • For offline submission via demand draft, also an amount of Rs. 1500/- is required.

Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure varies for each course:

  • For BA LLB/BBA LLB 5 years Program: Selection is based on the merit list or GLAT rank and score. Subsequently, candidates will be invited for a personal interview, and the final result will be declared.
  • For LL.B 3 years Program: Admission is based on a personal interview and marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Following this, the selection result will be announced.
  • For LL.M 2 years Program: Admission to this course is determined by the candidate’s performance in a personal interview.
