Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed BA in the relevant stream for getting admission into MA
  • Candidates must have passed a B.Sc or equivalent in the concerned subject with 55% marks or above for getting admission into M.Sc
  • Candidates must have passed B.Com or equivalent degree for getting admission into M.Com 
  • Candidates must have passed a B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent in the concerned subject with 60% marks or above for getting admission into M.Tech
  • Candidates must have 60% marks or above in Graduation with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or have a certificate in computer course with a minimum duration of 3 months for getting admission into MCA 
  • Candidates must have passed LL.B. Degree from the University of Delhi or any other Indian or Foreign University recognized as equivalent by the University of Delhi with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/CW/PwD categories) for getting admission into LL.M.
  • Candidate must have passed B.Ed. or equivalent with at least 50% marks for getting admission into M.Ed
  • Candidate must have passed B.P.Ed. or equivalent or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education with at least 50% marks for getting admission into M.P.Ed

Admit Card

  • The Admit Card will be issued to the Candidates in due course on provisional basis, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions.
  • The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website (https://nta.ac.in/), which will be intimated through Public Notice issued on the said website.
  • Candidates have to appear in the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift (Timing) as would be indicated in their respective Admit Card.
  • No candidate will normally be allowed to appear at an Examination Centre, on the Date and Timing, other than that is allotted by NTA to him or her in his/her Admit card.
  • In case a candidate is unable to download Admit Card from the website or notices any discrepancy in his/her particular or photograph or signature shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line of NTA between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. In such cases, such candidate(s) would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.
  • The candidates are advised to read the Instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.

Declaration of Result

  • The NTA will display the attempted question papers and provisional answer keys of the questions on the NTA website (www.nta.ac.in) for two to three days (after the conduct of the exam) to invite challenges (if any) from interested Candidates.
  • The Candidates will be intimated about the display of attempted question paper and provisional answer key through a public notice on the aforesaid website in due course.
  • A candidate has to pay online a processing fee @ Rs. 200/- per question challenge, for the number of questions / answer keys challenge online.
  • Only those challenges which are submitted online with payment of requisite processing fee, shall be taken into consideration for settlement.
  • The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and the Result will be declared on the basis of Final Answer Keys as settled by the concerned Subject Experts. No grievance/representation with regard to Answer Key(s) after declaration of result Website, will be entertained

Re-evaluation/Re-checking of result
There will not be no re-evaluation/re-checking of result. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

Selection Criteria

  • Through Merit or Direct: 50% of the total intake shall be filled by direct admission of the students of Delhi University only, on the basis of merit.
  • Through Entrance: Remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled through Delhi University entrance test (DUET) and Interview/ Group Discussion.

Application Process

Following are the steps to apply for getting admission to DU:

  • Click on the desired application portal like DU UG or PG or M.Phil / Ph.D. Portal.
  • As a first-time user, the candidate shall navigate to the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the user account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
  • Under the “Create New Account” page, the candidate should fill in all the required details.
  • Candidate should verify his/her email-id and Password as henceforth, it will be used for admission purposes.
  • Finally, the candidate should click the “Register” button to create a new user account.
  • A confirmation will be sent to the registered email account/mobile number upon the creation of the registration account.
  • Once registered, the applicant should log on to the UG/PG/Ph.D admission portal to complete the online registration form.
  • Under the “Registered Applicant Sign In” tab, the candidate shall enter “registered email-id” as username and the “password”.
  • Upon logging in, the candidate must complete the registration form divided among the following nine sections:
  • Personal Details, Bank Details
  • Academic Details
  • Merit-Based Course Selection
  • Entrance Based Course Selection
  • Sports – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through Sports Quota.
  • ECA – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through the ECA Quota.
  • Uploads – Passport size photograph, Signature, Class X certificate/ mark sheet, Self-attested Class XII mark sheet, Self-attested certificates
  • Preview – In this section, the applicant can preview the completed application.
  • Payment Section – In this section, the applicant can proceed to the online registration payment
