Mathematics and Natural Sciences:
- M.Sc./M.Tech./M.Phil./B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics/Computational Science/Computer Science/Scientific Computing/Physics/Mathematics/Electronics/Bioinformatics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks or its equivalent.
Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences:
- M.A./M.Com./M.B.A./M.Phil. or an equivalent degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.

DA-IICT Fellowship
- Eligibility: All full-time Ph.D. students are eligible for this fellowship upon admission.

- First two years: ₹35,000 per month.
- Third to fifth year: ₹40,000 per month.
- Duration: The fellowship is available for a maximum of five years, contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.
- Responsibilities: Recipients may be required to assist in teaching undergraduate courses, conducting tutorials, and participating in research projects.
2. TCS Research Scholar Program
- Eligibility:
- Candidates must be registered for a full-time Ph.D. program and be within 28 years of age at the time of application.
- Must have completed two semesters and be in the second year of their Ph.D. with a strong academic background.
- Amount:
- First two years: ₹70,000 per month.
- Next two years: ₹97,500 per month.
- Additional sabbatical stipend of ₹90,000 for up to six months for eligible scholars to study at a foreign university.
- Duration: Fellowship is available for a maximum of four years or until the submission of the thesis, whichever comes first.
3. Financial Assistance for Conference Participation
- Eligibility: Full-time Ph.D. students who have successfully completed their comprehensive examination and whose papers are accepted for international conferences.
- Amount:
- Maximum support of ₹150,000 or partial support of ₹75,000.
- Usage: Funds can be used for air travel, registration fees, visa fees, and daily allowances (DA) for local travel, food, and accommodation.
- Application Process: Students must submit an application through their guide, including necessary documentation such as acceptance notifications and budget details.
Additional Support
Advance Payment: The institute may provide advance payments to students facing financial difficulties before attending conferences, upon request through their guides.
