Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), CUET PG 2026 provides a single-window opportunity for students to secure seats in prestigious institutions for the academic session 2026-2027.

CUET (PG) Eligibility Criteria

For appearing in the CUET (PG) 2026, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2026 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.

Integrated M.Sc Programmes (5 Years)
Biochemistry : 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Biotechnology: [25 Seats]: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Computer Science: 10+2 in any Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Environmental Science: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology and / or Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Microbiology : 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Biology as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Statistics : 10+2 in any Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Chemistry: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Chemistry as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks in aggregate for general category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Economics: 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Economics and Mathematics OR Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Mathematics : 10+2 or equivalent of any recognized board in India with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Physics: 10+2 in Science Stream or equivalent of any recognised board in India with Physics and Mathematics as one of the optional subjects having 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.A. Programmes (2 Years)

Culture & Media Studies, Economic, English, Hindi, Public Policy Law & Governce, Social Work [20 each Seats]: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M. Pharm Programmes (2 Years)

Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. Candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE/GPAT Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test

M.Sc Programmes (2 years)

Biochemistry : Bachelor’s degree with Biochemistry/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Microbiology/ Medicine/ Pharmacy/ any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or 2 semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Biotechnology: Bachelor’s degree with Biotechnology/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biochemistry/Genetics/Microbiology/Medicine/Pharmacy/any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or Two semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Chemistry: B.Sc degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Chemistry as one of the main subjects

Computer Science: Following degree holders from recognized Universities with minimum score of 50% marks in graduation for general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible:

i) BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/B.Sc IT/ B.Tech. Comp Engg/ B.Tech IT/ or equivalent
ii) B.Sc with computer science as one of the subject at graduation level
iii) Graduation with Mathematics and 12th in Science stream

Environmental Science : Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline of Science/Engineering/Agricultural Sciences with a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Microbiology : Bachelor’s degree with Microbiology/Zoology/Botany/Life sciences/Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Medicine/ Pharmacy/ any other discipline of Biological sciences as one of the main subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects at least for One year or Two semesters with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

Physics: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates in Science with Physics as one of the main subjects

M.Arch Programme (2 Years)

Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general cateComputer Based Test mode only.gory and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates. Candidate with valid GATE Score will be preferred and will be exempted from appearing for the Entrance Test

MBA Programmes (2 Years)

Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University in any discipline with 50% of marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Computer Science & Engineering (Sponsored Category):

B.E/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering /MCA/M.Sc with a valid minimum GATE Score in Computer Science and Engineering; candidates with above qualifications but without valid GATE Score will have to appear for the Entrance Test.

M.A./ M.Sc (Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics)

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%marks and Statistics/Mathematics as one of the papers in the degree course, provided that the candidate has studied the subject of Mathematics at the 12th standard level as prescribed by CBSE or any State Board, 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

M.Sc. Tech. Mathematics

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Graduate level with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates

M.Com Programmes (2 years)

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Ph.D Programmes
A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree in the subject concerned or in a cognate / allied subject with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University.

Architecture

a) Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent and Master’s degree in architecture/allied specialization or equivalent from any recognized institution or
b) Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or equivalent in first class with ten years’ experience in teaching/research/professional practice.

3 Year Integrated M.Sc B.Ed Programmes

B.Sc Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Physics as one of the main subjects

Mode Of Examination

CUET (PG) 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode only.

Medium Of Question Papers

CUET (PG) 2026 will be conducted in English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for language and Sahitya papers (check details from Bunching List available in the Information Bulletin). Please note that for the correctness of the questions in all the question papers except languages, the English version will be taken as final.

CUET (PG) Medium Of Question Papers

Note
a. Candidate can choose maximum of 20 test paper codes in all.
b. Each question paper will have 100 MCQ Questions.
c. Candidate has to choose language English or Hindi at the time of registration for the Part A. (Choose Carefully).
d. In case of Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya the entire 100 questions of the question paper would be in Sanskrit language only.
e. Part B of the Question Paper will be in Sanskrit only for Acharya courses except Hindu Studies (English and Hindi) and Baudha Darshan/Buddhist Studies in English, Hindi and Sanskrit.
f. In case of language papers Part B of the Question Paper will be in the specified language.

📝 Exam Pattern & Marking Schem

The exam pattern is as follows

  • Number of papers – Candidate can choose maximum of four question paper codes.
  • Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Computer Based Test.
  • Number of Questions – There are 75 questions in the entrance exam.
  • Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 300.
  • Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 105 minutes.
  • Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in languages English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for languages, M. Tech Higher Sciences and Acharya papers (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan and Indian Knowledge System

Marking Scheme – 

  • Candidates get +4 marks for correct answer.
  • And negative marks is -1 for incorrect answers
