CUCET 2024 for Phase 1 will be held from 20 October 2023 to 31 May 2024. Chandigarh University has decided to conduct an entrance cum scholarship test named as Chandigarh University-Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission to various programs so as to provide an opportunity to bright and inquisitive young minds from across the country to study in most challenging and diverse academic environment. The CUCET test will be used for admissions cum scholarship purpose which is aimed at recognizing the achievements, potential & talent of the students by providing a chance-to-all to win scholarships and study at Chandigarh University in futuristic & cutting-edge programs of their choice. The test will be based on the syllabi of concerned qualifying examination and aptitude for that subject.

Eligibility Criteria
UG COURSES
A student who has scored 50% or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) or student appearing for secondary education (10+2) from a recognized Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognized State/National Board).
PG COURSES
A student who has scored 50% or more marks in their Graduation from recognized University.
How to Apply
Applications for CUCET will be accepted by online and offline mode. CUCET exam will be conducted online only.
Through Online Mode
- Visit CUCET website- http://cucet.cuchd.in for registration.
- Register on CUCET registration page and create your profile.
- After successful registration, confirmation message is sent through SMS/E-mail.
- Once registered, pay registration fee of Rs.1000/- which includes the digital copy of the prospectus.
- Fill your current qualification with school name & subjects and choose CUCET exam date available in drop down.
- Appear in CUCET examination on the scheduled date and time through https://cucet.cuchd.in with your registered login details.
- Result will be intimated through E-mail and will also be displayed on https://cucet.cuchd.in in your login account.
Through Offline Mode
Applicant may purchase CUCET Brochure cum form from University admission offices/ Authorized centres by paying Rs.1000/-.

CUCET Exam

- Mode of Exam – The exam is a Online test.
- Question type – The questions are MCQs.
- Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the CUCET.
- Total Marks – Maximum marks in the CUCET is 100 .
- Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 120 Minutes.
- Language of question paper – The medium for the exam will be English only. Whereas for students with 10+2 Arts one can choose Hindi as a subject.
Marking Scheme –
- Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
- And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers
