Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate or its equivalent CGPA from any recognised university/institutions/technical university/ deemed university or any other qualification (recommended by UGC/AICTE)
For Engineering: ME/MTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate or its equivalent CGPA
Or
MPhil degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale through a regular programme from any deemed-to-be university/ a recognised institution
Or
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% aggregate
(A relaxation of 5% aggregate or an equivalent grade may be allowed for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently-abled and other categories )
Course Duration
- Full-time mode: 3 years (minimum) to 6 years (maximum)
- Part-time mode: 4 years (minimum) to 7 years (maximum)
Selection Criteria
Entrance Exam* (minimum score of 50%) and Personal Interview/ Viva-voce (conducted by the university)
Exempted from the test: MPhil degree holders, University/College teachers with a regular position & two years of service, and Scientists of State/National/International Government Institutions/R&D Laboratories with at least three years of research experience & relevant publications
