🎓 Eligibility Criteria

To sit for the exam, you must meet the following requirements:

• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile: Must have a valid Chhattisgarh domicile (for state quota seats).
• Education: Must have passed (or be appearing in) the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (or Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects).
• Minimum Marks: At least 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates).
• Age: Must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026.

CG PET Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is as follows

• Mode of Exam – The exam is an Offline OMR Based test.
• Question type – The questions are MCQs.
• Number of Questions – There are 150 questions in the entrance exam.
• Total Marks – The maximum mark in the exam is 150.
• Exam Duration – The entrance exam is 3 hours 15 minutes.

Marking Scheme – 

• Candidates get +1 marks for correct answer.
• And negative marks is 0 for incorrect answers

2. Click on the “Online Applications” tab and select CG PET 2026.
3. New Registration: Create a profile using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
4. Fill Form: Enter personal and academic details.
5. Upload Documents: Upload a scanned photograph and signature.
6. Payment: Pay the application fee (General: ₹200, OBC: ₹150, SC/ST/PH: ₹100).

Pro-Tip: Since there is no negative marking, focus on accuracy first, but ensure you leave no bubbles blank on your OMR sheet by the end of the exam!
