About
B.Ed is the bachelor’s degree undertaken to take up teaching as a profession in schools. A B.Ed or Bachelor of Education is not an undergraduate degree and to pursue this course one needs to have completed his/her graduation. Thus, B.Ed is a professional course and right after completing this course, students can get a job at the school level.
The B.Ed course duration is two years. Candidates can pursue B.Ed in regular mode.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility Conditions for Admission to B.Ed. Two Year Regular Course as per NCTE Norms is as under:
- Candidates with at least 50% (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Hearing Impaired and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor‟s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Hearing Impaired and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
