About

BTech – Electronics and Computing focuses on the hardware and software aspects of computing. This branch enhances the knowledge and skills required for electronics and computing system design through hardware and software co-design. The program provides an overall understanding of an end-to-end system design flow that includes the programming of communication and computing systems in the modern intelligent hardware system.

Combining these two disciplines leads to the development of understanding of both the subject areas, which prepares the students for a wide range of careers, in both or either of the fields. The interdisciplinary branch allows the student to become a multi-skilled professional Engineer having a thorough understanding of the concepts and techniques from Electronics and Computing, which are more likely to influence the career prospects of the students.

  • A XII standard pass from any recognised Education Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and a minimum 50% marks along with any other third subject. Alternately, a XII std pass from an IB Board with minimum score of 24

  • Curriculum DetailsB.Tech in Electronics and Computing is a branch of Electronic Engineering. It significantly focuses on the effects of the electrons to prepare the components, devices, systems, or equipment. Students study the application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism in Electrical Engineering. Herein B.Tech Electronics and Computing is an integrated programme, where students study the electronics hardware circuits and programming and IT aspects. The curriculum of Electronics and Computing is different from ECE. In ECE, students learn about the EMT, Digital & Analog communication, and RF Engineering.Students pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Computing will gain knowledge about the hardware and software as required by the industry. BU will teach and train students to develop new technologies in both domains such as hardware and software that can be utilised in various applications such as healthcare, security, communication, early disaster warning, education, entertainment, business, production, farming, etc. The detailed curriculum will shed light on the navigation of programme throughout the duration of four years.The programme structure will aid Electronics & Computing aspirants to dive deep into the fundamentals of theory alongside understanding coursework in different aspects of both fields over four years.

Selection Process

B.Tech – Electronics and Computing

Selection will be based on the merit of Class XII Best of 3 subjects score (comprising of Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects and any other third subject with highest score)ORJEE Main.

In case of non-availability of qualifying score, Personal Interview shall be conducted.
