The BCECE LE 2026 examination will be held on 31 May 2026. Its application form has released. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Lateral Entry (BCECE LE) 2026 is organized by BCECEB. BCECE LE 2026 Exam Date

Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying for the BCECE-LE 2026 exam, candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria:

Residence:

Applicants must be residents of India and have parents who are natives of Bihar. Alternatively, applicants may also qualify if their parents are registered refugees in Bihar, residents of other states but are employed in Bihar, employees of the pre-reorganization Bihar government with transferable posts to Bihar/Jharkhand, employees of the Government of India posted in Bihar, employees of Government of India-run factories or institutions in Bihar (Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India), or employees of the United Nations currently posted in Bihar.

Physical:

Candidates selected for admission will undergo a medical examination. Admission will be granted only to those found eligible in the examination. A separate fee will be charged for this examination.

For Engineering Course Groups:

Academic Qualification:

Candidates must have:

• Passed a minimum of THREE Years/TWO Years (Lateral & Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
• Passed B.Voc/3-Year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

Candidates appearing for the Diploma examination may also apply, but they must have passed the examination by the time of interview/counseling.

There is no age limit for admission.

For Para Medical Degree Course Group:

Academic Qualification:

Candidates must have:

• Passed a two-year Para Medical Diploma Course recognized by the Government of Bihar/Government of India for admission in Para Medical Degree Course.
• Candidates appearing in the final examination of the two-year Para Medical Diploma Course can also apply but must pass the examination by the time of interview/counseling.

For admission in the second year of Para Medical Degree Course, the minimum age should be 18 years on 31st December of the examination year.

For Pharmacy Degree Course Group:

Candidates must have:

• Passed a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy Course recognized by the Bihar Government/PCI under Pharmacy Act 12 for admission in the second year of Pharmacy Degree Course.
• Candidates appearing in the final examination of the two-year Diploma in Pharmacy Course can also apply, but they must pass by the time of interview/counseling.

For admission in the second year of Pharmacy Degree Course, the minimum age should be 18 years on 31st December of the examination year.

Application Fee

• Application Fee for all category : Rs 2200/-
• Mode of Payment – Online through Debit card / Credit card / Net banking

BCECE LE Exam Pattern

You can check the BCECE LE 2026 exam pattern as per its announcement at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Last year the exam pattern was as follows.

• Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Offline test.
• Question type – The questions are Objective.
• Number of Questions – There are 150 questions in the entrance exam.
• Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 600.
• Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 2 hours 15 minutes.
• Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English, Hindi.

Marking Scheme – 

• Candidates get +4 marks for correct answer.
• And negative marks is -1 for incorrect answers

1. Registration: Visit bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and click on “Online Portal of BCECE(LE)-2026.”
2. Personal Info: Fill in your details and log in using the generated credentials.
3. Uploads: You need a scanned photo and signature. The photo must include a placard with your name and the date of the photo.
4. Fee Payment: The application fee is ₹2,200 for all categories, payable via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
