Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the JLEE exam, the candidates must have completed a three-year diploma in engineering from a recognized institute in Assam. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. In addition, the candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Assam.
Application ProcessAs per ASTU
The Assam JLEE application process is conducted online, and the candidates need to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of ASTU and click on the JLEE application link.
Step 2: Fill in the application form with the necessary details such as personal information, educational qualification, and contact details.
Step 3: Upload the scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature.
Step 4: Pay the application fee through online mode.
Step 5: Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page.
Exam Pattern
The JLEE exam is conducted in offline mode, and the duration of the exam is two hours. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the subjects of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The total number of questions is 100, and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
