Assam JLEE 2025 will be conducted on 22 June 2025 decided by ASTU.Its answer key has released. Its registration has started. Assam JLEE is conducted by ASTU. Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination (Assam JLEE) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for admission to the lateral entry of B.E/B.Tech programs in various colleges and universities in Assam. It is a highly competitive exam, and the candidates need to be well-prepared to score well in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the JLEE exam, the candidates must have completed a three-year diploma in engineering from a recognized institute in Assam. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam. In addition, the candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Assam.

Application ProcessAs per ASTU

The Assam JLEE application process is conducted online, and the candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of ASTU and click on the JLEE application link.

Step 2: Fill in the application form with the necessary details such as personal information, educational qualification, and contact details.

Step 3: Upload the scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph and signature.

Step 4: Pay the application fee through online mode.

Step 5: Submit the application form and take a printout of the confirmation page.

Exam Pattern

The JLEE exam is conducted in offline mode, and the duration of the exam is two hours. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from the subjects of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The total number of questions is 100, and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The exam pattern is as follows

  • Mode of Exam – The exam  is a Offline / OMR Based test.
  • Question type – The questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • Number of Questions – There are 100 questions in the entrance exam.
  • Total Marks – Maximum marks in the exam is 400.
  • Exam Duration – The entrance exam is of 3 Hours.
  • Language of Question Paper – The question paper is in language English.

Marking Scheme – 

  • Candidates get +4 marks for correct answer.
  • And negative marks is -1 for incorrect answers
