Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to take admission in the MBBS course at Aligarh Muslim University should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of this University or an examination recognised by the University as its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Physics,
- Chemistry and Biology.
- Reserved category students should have secured at least 45% in the last qualifying exam.
- Not less than 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.

Admission Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to MBBS at AMU must clear the NEET UG entrance examination conducted by NTA. The scores of NEET entrance will be valid for one year that is, the candidates can apply via the scores of the NEET entrance exam only once a year. Selection will be done through counselling conducted by the university on the basis of NEET scores.
Exam Pattern
- The entrance exam will be an MCQ type having four options for each question.
- The is a negative marking.
- Each question will be carrying 4 marks.

Application Process
Candidates can apply for the MBBS program of AMU by following the below-mentioned steps.
- Candidates should visit the official website of AMU.
- Search the website for admission to the MBBS course.
- Fill in all the details asked in the registration form.
- A mail and a text message will be sent containing your ID and Password.
- Login again using the new ID and Password.
- Fill in all the relevant data asked and upload all the required documents.
- Candidates are then required to submit the choice of courses and the colleges they wish to apply for. Before filling out the AMU MBBS/BDS application form, students should look over the seat matrix. DGHS will conduct AMU MBBS 2022 counselling based on the candidates’ selections and other reasons.
- Pay an online fee of INR 1,000 via net banking or Credit/Debit card.
- Take the printout of the application form for further use.
