About Scholarship

The All India Medical Scholarship Entrance Test (AIMSET) is a national-level entrance exam open to students currently in class 12th, those who have completed their class 12th exams, or individuals preparing for medical entrance exams after completing class 12th. AIMSET is conducted annually on a national scale and is merit-based.

Scholarships awarded through AIMSET cover tuition fees for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, spanning up to four years. These scholarships are granted based on merit. Additionally, every qualified student is guaranteed at least a “Standard Laptop” scholarship, provided upon successful admission to AIMSET participating institutes and universities.

Scholarship Details

  • Section A: 500 students securing 95% or above marks in AIMSET are eligible for scholarship (Full Tuition Fee for 4 years in Govt. Colleges and, 1- Year fee in Pvt. Colleges as per mention the list of colleges on website) for studying in any of the 300+ Govt. Approved AIMSET Participating colleges and universities.
  • Section B: 700 students securing marks more than to 85% and less than 95% in AIMSET are eligible for scholarship (Tuition fee for 1st year in Govt College and, 50% tuition fee for 1 year in Pvt. College) for studying in any of the 300+ Govt. Approved AIMSET Participating colleges and universities.
  • Section C: 5000 students securing marks more than or equal to 75% and less than 85% in AIMSET are eligible for scholarship (Standard Laptop) for study

Eligibility Criteria

  • ACADEMIC CRITERIA
  • The candidate must have passed the final examination of 10+2
  • 50 % marks in allsubject PCB.
  • 10+2 appearing students are eligible.
  • AGE LIMIT
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years of age.
  • The upper age limit for NEET-UG is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5
  • years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category
  • Note: The total number of attempts for General and OBC candidates is three, whereas the total
  • number of attempts for SC/ST/PH is five.

Application Procedure

Step 1. Registration at www.aimset.in
Applicants are requested to register themselves at www.aimset.in with their active Email id and Mobile Number.

Step 2. Application Fee Payment
The applicants must fill up their application forms, pay fees (through Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking), and submit them online.

Step 3: Upload your Document
After completing the payment you can proceed to upload the document like Aadhar, 10th & 12th Marksheet etc.

Admission Procedure

For seeking admission in the AIMSET participating institutes/universities for the academic year 2024, applicants should complete the following procedure:

Step 1. It is mandatory to appear at the AIMSET Scholarship Test for admission in AIMSET participating institutes/universities. The applicants can apply through online mode for AIMSET – 2024. For Online Mode, applicants may visit: www.aimset.in

Step 2. All the applicants, who are applying to the AIMSET – 2024, have to take a online test. The successful applicants would be invited for a counselling round.

Step 3. All the eligible applicants have to appear at the counselling round for admission, in which they would get an option to choose an institute and the desired branch. After filling all the choices, applicants will get 6 choices of institutes/universities finally and they have to choose one from amongst them. The counselling shall be conducted after the declaration of the result. Here, it is noteworthy that attendance at the counselling is mandatory to avail this facility.

Step 4. It is after the counselling round that the candidates shall be provided application receipts. The selected applicants have to report to the institute/ university in person on the given date and time with the admission receipt with original documents required for further proceedings.

  • AIMSET Scorecard and Admit card of AIMSET.
  • NEET Scorecard for MBBS, BDS, BAMS.
  • Seat allotment certificate / Admission receipt.
  • Migration Certificate (Original).
  • Age proof certificate (Birth certificate / 10th marksheet).
  • 10th & 12th Marksheet.
  • SC / ST / OBC / PH certificate.
  • Student Aadhaar card & Father Aadhaar card
  • 5 Photographs

The Pattern of the Examination:

  • Objective type (multiple choice questions)
  • Each correct answer carry four marks
  • Negative marking deduct one mark.
