VIVEKANAN COLLEGE Vivekanand a College was set-up by Delhi Administration with grants from the University Grants Commission in the year 1970, precisely with the objective of giving facilities of higher education to women of the trans-Yamuna areas in the capitl."Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man." Man manifests knowledge, discoveres it within himself, which is pre-existing through eternity."Admission Rules No person shall be qualified for admission to the University in the first year of the Degree course unless she is seventeen years of age before the first day of October in the year in which she seeks admission.Provided the vice-Chancellor may on the basis on indivdual merit relax the age limit upto a maximum period of one year after a candidate has been admitted by the College and the application is made through the Principal of the College.
