Pusa Polytechnic is one of the oldest Institute, established during 1962. This Institute is located in Central Delhi in lush green Pusa Campus. During a span of 47 years of its existence this Institute has established its reputation amongst Industry and in the Society. It is very popular amongst the students of Delhi region as well as other States of India. It involves many activities such as Games, NCC, TECOS, TASSK besides Academics. It has various facilities such as Boys Hostel, Canteen, indoor Gym, Games etc. It has very good placement records. Many companies conduct campus interviews and Industrial visits are organized for the students. This Polytechnic has well qualified staff as per AICTE norms and AICTE pay scales/service conditions have been implemented. In this Institute the age of retirement for the teaching staff has been enhanced to 62 years. This Polytechnic provides technical skills through TECOS with cooperation of NGO’s. This Institute is conducting Morning, Evening & Part-Time classes.

Pusa Polytechnic also provides dormitories (hostel) for boys, canteen facilities and a sports room for recreational activities and makes available student bus passes (Delhi Transport Corporation, DTC) and railway passes. Pusa Polytechnic has a history of placing its students in various reputable companies. The Industrial Training and Laison Officer is responsible for the arrangements of any on Campus interviews for Pusa Polytechnic. In addition to the Audio-Visual training sessions, students are also provided with workshop training and industrial visits, organized for the students by the institute. The polytechnic has well qualified staff as per AICTE(All India Council For Technical Education) norms and AICTE pay scales/service conditions have been implemented. In this Institute the age of retirement for the teaching staff has been increased to 62 years to retain its best lecturers. This polytechnic has implemented Community Polytechnic scheme of Ministry of HRD (Government of India) and Stree Shakti Camps are attended by the staff of the Institute.
