Admission Notices

    A non-profit NGO, Registered body of Persons of Indian Origin founded in the Year 1989, aims to provide a platform for the Indians living in India and abroad. The Institute highlights the achievements of NRIs and PIOs in their chosen field of activities. It brings out a Newsletter updating NRIs the world over about the socio-economic and political happenings taking place in India. The Newsletter, a fortnightly, was released by Jagdish Tytler Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs on August 19, 2004 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The Newsletter is highly circulated on the internet and is also available on our website. The NRI Institute in association with BIB Media publishes NRI WORLD – Connecting Indian Diaspora, “India’s only magazine that celebrates the achievements of Persons of Indian Origin settled in foreign countries”.

    The magazine was released on the 6th of July 2007, at a launch in London by the Honorable Lord Swraj Paul in the presence of more than 250 guests followed by a launch in Dubai on 7th September by the Counsel General of India to Dubai, Shri Venu Rajamony in Dubai and on 23rd September 2007 the same was launched by Meira Kumar, the then Union Minister of Justice Empowerment in the presence of Lord Paul and Dr. Justice A. R. Lakshmanan the Chairman of the Law Commission of India in New Delhi. Judge Radall Rader and Deputy Ambassador of India in US, Mr. R. S. Jassal, launched the second issue of the magazine on 28th September 2007 at Hotel JW Marriott Washington DC in the presence of more than 500 guests. The Magazine is available the world over and on the website: www.nriachievers.org.

    NRI INSTITUTE, over the years, has established Chapters in UK, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bangkok, Mauritius, Seychelles, Madagascar, Fiji, Trinidad & Tobago, Angola, Reunion Island, Singapore, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA in Washington DC, New York, California and New Jersey. The Institute has so far organized over a 100 international events in India, London, Dubai, New York, Detroit, Washington DC, Silicon Valley, California, Mauritius, Bangkok, Singapore and Bahrain. The Institute has also organized several symposia on specific issues successfully from time to time at the national and international levels in India and abroad.
