Introduction:

Faculty: Based in New Delhi, Munish Khanna graduated from the prestigious Government college of Art Chandigarh, with a degree in Applied Art (Advertising Photography) in the year 1993 and since then has gone on to carve a niche in the photography circuit as one of the most versatile and innovative young photographers. Trained in Digital Photography in New York, Munish continues to work on complex assignments in fields which are as varied as Fashion, Advertising, Food, Interiors, Travel and Editorial.

Work Profile: His Photographs and concepts appear with certain regularity in nearly all leading national magazines. These include Cosmopolitan, Femina, Savvy, Savvy Cook Book, Society, Society Fashion, Society Interiors, In touch with Fashion, Wedding Affairs, Health and Nutrition, Teens Today, Reader s Digest, Arcade, Showtime and several others.

-Amongst his other major achievements are several covers for prestigious magazines like Savvy and Teens Today, A Book for Harper Collins Publishers, A photo feature in Mojo, a British music magazine.

-Interiors and Food shoots at Maurya Shereton, Taj Palace, Hayat & Park Royal

-And advertising works like press campaigns for Bhartiya Cutler - Hammer, Softouch, Child Sexual Abuse & IEC, Lee Cooper, Carrier Airconditioners, Woodland, Escorts, Jolen, Titan -Tanishq, Mehrasons Jewellers, Bon Ton, and many more.

He has shot famous celebrities like; Pandit Ravi Shanker and Anoushka,, Meera and Muzzafar Ali, Anil Biswas, Nandita Das, Anita Kaul Basu, Mona Bhattacharya, Vinod Khanna, Sylvie, Radha Raja Reddy, Geeta Chandran, Najma Heptullah, Roshan Abbas, Naina Balsawar etc

The course: In his search to impart his knowledge, Munish has developed a " Basic and Advance course package" especially designed as an exhaustive, step by step study in the art and science of photography. The course is designed to cover every practical and theoretical aspect to tutor a beginner and advance an amateur. The aim of the programme is to gradually orient a student towards a complete photographic mind-set and develop his/her confidence in handling the camera for an independent indoor or outdoor shoot. The course covers all areas of practical photography including the professional guidelines on Digital Photography.

Course options:

Beginner’s course: General Photography covered in 15 sessions- 2 weeks (Theoretically and practically)

Professional’s course: 15 sessions covering a specific subject.

Basic course: 30 sessions spread over seven (7) weeks / one and a half (1 ½) month.

Basic course includes the fundamentals and Basic levels of photography. All subjects are covered theoretically and practically.

Advance course: 50 sessions spread over ten (10) weeks / two and a half (2 ½) months.

Advance course includes the advance levels of photography, besides fundamentals and basics. This option includes additional 20 days of course period. The initial 30 days are common in Basic and Advance course
