A non-profit organization that promotes Sanskrit education at the Postgraduate levels and Vedic philosophy and through these the promotion of the Indian Culture. We are living in an age of science and technology. Unfortunately amidst all this nobody has time for spiritual science, which helps human beings progress in life and yet be at peace with themselves and others. Most thinkers believe that in India this is happening primarily because Sanskrit and Vedic philosophies have lost their importance. The essence of life has moved away from these path providers to other influences. In fact today, there are very few patrons of Sanskrit and Vedic Dharma who have kept these treasured components of our culture alive. This state of affairs explains, to some extent, the origin of Gurudutt Vidhyarthi Kalyan Samiti (GVKS). This non-profit organisation promotes Sanskrit education at the Postgraduate levels and Vedic philosophy and through these the promotion of the Indian Culture. The people at GVKS believe that they must promote such studies and prevent the Indian culture from dying. Its major activities may be summed up as follows: Sanskrit Education - the Samiti offers scholarships to under privileged students who want to pursue Sanskrit education at the Postgraduate and higher levels. But these students should have secured admission to the respective courses in Delhi University. Besides taking care of their study expenditures, the Samiti also provides them with a monthly allowance to take care of their other needs. Vedic Studies - The Samiti arranges, from time to time, various seminars. Eminent personalities are invited to share their views and thoughts on various topics. These topics generally revolve around our Vedas and also religion and spiritual philosophy. The main objective of arranging such seminars is to help the audience achieve a spiritual awakening and understand the deeper meaning of life. Promotion of Indian Sanskriti - By promoting Sanskrit and knowledge of Vedas, the Samiti ultimately aims to promote our rich Indian culture. This is definitely a positive step towards strengthening social and religious roots of the country.
