In 1972, the Post Diploma course in Refrigeration & Air- conditioning of 1.1/2 years duration was introduced followed by Part-Time evening diploma courses of four years duration in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering to Provide continuing education to the in service ITI Passed students who are unable to join full time day diploma courses but still wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills., Eligibility for Admission : Only Indian Nationals/Nominated candidates are eligible. Age: For full-time Diploma Courses candidate should be below 21 years as on 1st Oct. of the admission year. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates. The minimum educational qualifications required for admission to the various couses are indicated below. These requirements shall in no case be relaxed.
