Result... our spirited EMPIans - Lady & Gentleman Young Managers (LYMs/GYMs) as we call them., In building together all round excellence, EMPIans have been the proud beneficiary of continuous interaction with our founder, Chairman Emeritus ITC Ltd., Mr. Ajit N. Haksar, who remained not only our Patron Chairman for more than a decade but also an omnipresent friend, philosopher and guide. Since his demise in 2005, the baton of providing guidance to EMPI Institutions was passed on to Dr. N.C.B. Nath, former Professor, IIMs (Ahmedabad & Bangalore) and later into the hands of Dr. D.V. Kapur Simultaneously, Mr. P. S. Bami, former Chairman became the Chairman of EMPI’s Expert Advisory Council and Dr. S. P. Verma the founder& Director. Other well known personalities who joined EMPI's galaxy of Patrons includes Ms. Tara Sinha ( the doyen of Indian Advertsiing), Mr. N. Vittal (enabler of India’s IT revolution, Dr. Udai Pareek ( father of Human Resources Education). Mr. S.
