Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, formerly Sanatan Dharma College,is a Co-educational Constituent College of the University of Delhi. The college was founded on August 3,1959 by the Sanatan Dharma Sabha (Rawalpindi) Delhi. Late Shri Atma Ram Chadha, who was a great philanthropist, a man of great vision and was keenly interested in the propagation of education, took over as Chairman of the College Governing body in the year 1967. The College is now functioning under the able and dynamic leadership of the Chairman, Mr. Chander Mohan Chadha . The college moved to the present picturesque site at Dhaula Kuan in July 1965. The campus covers an area of 12.3 acres. The College is an outstanding institution with highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty who are the scholars of International repute, and extremely efficient non- teaching staff. The College is progressing towards achieving excellence in academics, sports and extra curricular activities. The college has an impressive double-storeyed building comprising Class rooms and a Seminar room, Departmental rooms, well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Computer, Electronics, Biology laboratories, a well-stocked Excellent Library , Common Rooms for girls and boys, a Canteen, and an Administrative Block. The College maintains beautiful lawns, spacious playgrounds and elaborated sports facilities. NCC, NSS and Dramatic society is also in the college for the students. The College has also Bank Facility (Syndicate Bank) for staff and bonafied students of the College.
The college was established in 1959.The total number of faculty are 115 and total number of students enrolled are 1720.The college has a library.
