Revised Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (RANM)

Revised Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife is a fulltime diploma course offered by the institute. The duration of this course is 1.5 years. The course covers all the related topics of the study field and gives rigorous training to the students. Education is the key of all the progress & achievement, educational preparation of nurses, who contribute primarily towards the health of the community, needs constant attention keeping in mind the health needs of the society. In the light of the changing educational system of the country, the course in general nursing has been reorganized in to a one and half years programme. The programme is geared to the health needs of the country , the community and the individual; and it will serve as basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and professional development so that they may make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses.
