Post Graduate Diploma Health Science in Tobacco Control - Tobacco use is the number one preventable cause of death in the world, and it is projected to kill one billion people in the 21st century unless effective tobacco control measures are implemented. In order to slow and ultimately end the global burden of tobacco-caused death and disease public health professionals, tobacco control professionals, and research scientist need to be equipped with the technical skills necessary to advance global tobacco control efforts. The aim of this certificate program is to provide formal education to research scientists, tobacco control professionals and graduate and post-graduate students to equip them with the technical skills necessary to play key roles in tobacco control efforts.
