Eligiblity:

M.Sc. in M.Sc. (Zoology/Botany/Forestry/Life Science/Experimental Biology/Environmental Sciences/ Biological Sciences/Wildlife Science or any subject relevant to Wildlife Sciences) or A.I.F.C. or M.V.Sc. or M.Sc. Agriculture or M.A. (Sociology/Anthropology). Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% marks or grade point average.

Course Details:

All candidates admitted to Ph. D. programme is to compulsorily do the course work assigned and shall be required to take a written examination for the same. A candidate will earn credits for a Course Unit only if he/she obtains a minimum of Grade B+ (Points 07 on scale of 10). If a candidate fails to get qualifying Grade B+, he/she will be given second opportunity to improve his/her qualifying Grade to B+, i.e. Point 7 on ten point scale failing which his/her registration is liable to be cancelled. For part-time candidates, classes are arranged on week-ends.
