PG Diploma Course on Minerals & Metals Chemistry (PGDCMMC) - The eastern region of India particularly the state of Odisha is rich in various mineral resources like coal, iron and manganese ores, bauxite, chromite, ilmenite etc. Most of the major industries in this region are mineral based, such as thermal power plants, integrated iron and steel plants, Alumina production and Aluminium smelters, Ferroalloy and sponge iron plants. These industries require a large number of scientific and engineering personnel with good knowledge in “Mineral and Metal Chemistry” to produce quality goods. In view of this, the Institute of Advance Technology & Environmental studies (IATES), Bhubaneswar, proposes to offer a Post Graduate Diploma Course in Mineral and Metal Chemistry (PGDMMC) of One year duration under Ravenshaw University, Cuttack.
