Eligiblity:

Candidates with BASLP degree of the University of Mysore or any other University, approved by RCI and considered as equivalent thereto with an average of not less than 50% of marks are eligible for admission. Note: 'Average' refers to the average of the aggregate marks of all the years/semesters of BASLP course. Only those candidates who have not completed 30 years of age as on 1st July of the relevant academic year shall be eligible for admission.

PG Diploma in Clinical Linguistics for SLP (PGDCLP) - Clinical Linguistics is a field of linguistics that deals with the application of linguistic principles to communication disabilities especially in clinical settings. It involves inter-disciplinary study among the various disciplines and sub-disciplines such as speech and language pathology, linguistics behavior sciences like clinical psychology, education among others, aimed at studying language development and disorders in specific clinical settings. The course will equip the speech-Language pathologists to assess, diagnose and plan intervention programs for communication problems in the Indian context. More appropriately it will also prepare the candidates to undertake inter-disciplinary research in the areas of speech, language and cognition.
