Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA in Applied Arts), is four years undergraduate academic applied for the art course in India. The study deals with the application of design and aesthetics to an object of functions and everyday use. The course is designed to explore the areas of Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Advertising Decorative Art, Functional Art, Architecture and Photography. Fine Arts Degree has differed from a Bachelor of Arts Degree. The study programmes are component and contrasted with lecture and discussion classes. It’s a general liberal arts studies, The study improves the knowledge, mental ability and an aptitude to think logically techniques.The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects of Principles and Techniques in academic discipline such as Calligraphy, Clay & Plaster modelling, Collage Painting & Print Media, Drawing, Geometrical Drawing & Perspective Drawing, History of Art in India, Silk Screen, Stencil Print, Computer Applications, Photography and Reproduction Techniques, Portfolio Development & Digital Manipulation.
The candidate has to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Education with any Stream or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Bachelor Degree professional study program.
This course requires study requires 3 to 4 years of the time period with an internship in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part-time education program and also go for online study option to earn this degree.
After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do Master’s of Arts (MA in Applied Arts), M.Phil (Applied Arts), and specialization research-oriented course in their respective field.
