M.Tech Center of Studies in Resources Engineering - Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering is the emphasis of the programme is on the use of modern techniques and tools such as Satellite Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Global Positioning Systems etc. for natural resources studies. The course provides a balanced coverage on natural resources exploration and management as well as on the topical areas of interest such as Agro-Informatics & Rural Development, Atmospheric Studies including Ozone Depletion, Coastal and Marine Environment, Digital Image Processing, Digital Photogrammetry, Natural Hazard Assessment and Disaster Mitigation, Snow, Avalanche and Glacial Studies, Terrain Evaluation, Water Resoruces (Surface and Ground water) Studies etc.
