M.D Prasutitantra & Stree rog- Today’s world woman has no more remained bound to household work. Today’s woman works hard to suffice needs of her family and at her working place. So Gynecological health, sound maternity & care of puerperal are noteworthy issues for today’s working women. Our ‘Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga’, is a well established department and deals with gynecological & obstretic care. Ayurvedic Gynecologists take essential care of above said issues with safe Ayurvedic therapies and medicines. In our department we have ayurvedic specialities like Garbhasanskar for pregnant women.Also we do pre conceptional counselling for healthy and beautiful conception.We provide ayurvedic ante natal care through out pregnancy along with modern essential needs.We have very good ayurvedic treatments for infertility as well.Treatments like Uttarbasti are routinely done in our department. This department has well equipped ward, operation theater and labour room with all supportive diagnostic tools like ultrasound, x-ray machine, Non-stress test (NST) unit etc. Faculty is efficient in handling all types of emergencies in the hospital and also in performing necessary surgeries. The PG students of the department take up research topics which are socially oriented.
