Masters in Films and Electronic Media Studies (MFEMS)

The Masters in Film and Electronic Media Studies (FEMS), is a two postgraduate academic Film and Electronic Media Study course in India. The study is designed to prepare candidates to become a powerful visual storyteller in one of the three concentrations, environmental and wild filming, political, cultural and social impact on an art of entertainment. The master study prepares candidates to step into the media Industry as filmmakers and media creators to move on their career in an academic discipline.The master’s course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of Film and Electronic Media Studies. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with filmmaking in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Digital Media Literacies and Skills, Web Development, Film and Media Boot Camp, Producing Film and Video, Principles of Photography, Film and video Production and Direction.

Eligibility

The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), or any other Bachelor Degree with relevant subjects or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 2 to years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree, the course of study is based on practical aspects of Filmmaking and Electronic Media.
