Eligiblity:

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree are holding a bachelor's degree in (B.E/B.Tech) or any other equivalent branches of engineering.

Course Details:

Master of Technology in System Software Engineering, is a two years postgraduate Software engineering professional degree level course of study in India. Software Engineering is associated with the technical tasks such as Designing, Implementing, Modifying, Analysis, Assessment and test of System software.

The aim of the professional study program is to prepare candidates who have adequate knowledge and skills required for a systematic approach to the analysis, design, implement application of software system. Software engineers are coordinated with the work like Construction, Maintenance and Expansion of an organization's computer system.

The course of study is suitable for those candidates wants to increase their knowledge for accelerating their career by exploring and acquire a critical understanding of the System Software Engineering. The course of study is designed to provide in-depth knowledge, information, techniques and about the activities associated with system software, in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and principles techniques in an academic discipline such as Advanced Operating System, Object Oriented Programming Concept, Advanced Algorithms, Advanced Database Management, Principles of Language Translation, Object Oriented Software Engineering, Testing & Quality Management, software Design, Research Methodology, Network Security, Software Metrics, Component Based Development.

Eligibility:

The candidate has to complete Bachelor Degree such as Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 60% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode:

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning, study option to earn this degree.

Further Studies:

After the successful completion of this course, candidates can also pursue the higher studies and do Ph.D. (Doctorate in System Software Engineering), and specialization or research oriented work in their respective field.
