Master of Educational Administration (MEA)

Eligiblity:

A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks or equivalent.

Course Details:

The Master in Education Administration (MEA) is a two years postgraduate Administration Degree Course in India. The course is designed to provide manpower as effective administrators, in Public and Private Schools.
The aim of the master’s degree program is to provide aspiring school leaders with strengthened core knowledge, skills and abilities resulting in improved student achievement, with higher qualified administrative candidates have the capacity to lead elementary and secondary schools education and its administration.
The Master’s study program prepares candidates as Teachers pursuing a career as principals and school administrators and strengthen their teaching skills with mentoring and coaching in school administration. The study develops the understanding of the common issues faced by school administrators.

The course is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and information and techniques about the Prevention activities associated with Education Administration in a comprehensive manner. The study is focused on theoretical and practical aspects and Principles Techniques in an academic discipline such as
Visioning and School Administration, Legal and Ethical Foundations of Educational Leadership, Educational Research Methodology, Leadership in Curriculum, Addressing Students with Special Needs, Personnel Administration and Professional Development, Elementary, Secondary School Principalship, Supervision of Instruction and the Learning Environment, Accounting & Financing Public and Private Education.

Eligibility

The candidate have to complete Bachelor Degree like, Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or any other Bachelor Degree with relevant subjects, or equivalent examination, with minimum aggregate 55% marks, such candidates are eligible to take admission in Master’s degree professional study program.

Course Duration / Learning Mode

This course requires study requires 2 years of time period in India, It’s a Full Time professional degree course, but some candidates use part time, correspondence education program and also go for distance learning study option to earn this degree.
