Diploma Survey Engineering (DSE)

Diploma Survey Engineering (DSE) - This course provides students with the practical skills to carry out the role of a surveyor in the collection of spatial data related to the set-out and monitoring of engineering structures, roads, railways and mining operations. This course covers: operation of sophisticated surveying equipment and software for conducting more complex engineering surveys including road design and setout surveys; use of specific surveying software for creating mine and engineering drawings and for solving complex engineering and geodetic computational problems, including Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and Computer Aided Drafting ( CAD) programs.
