Course Details:

Certification Vascular and Inverventional Neuroradiology (CVIN) - Vascular interventional techniques include arterial and venous revascularizations (balloon angioplasty, thrombolysis, and stenting), transcatheter embolotherapy, and percutaneous inferior vena cava filter placement. Additional vascular experience includes the management of stenotic and occluded hemodialysis accesses, percutaneous creation of intrahepatic portosystemic shunts, and the placement of a variety of venous access devices, including tunneled and implantable ones.The Interventional Radiology Section participates in weekly interdisciplinary conferences and tumor boards with clinical and surgical specialists.
