Certification Translation (CT) - A Certificate in Translation is generally a post-baccalaureate program designed for students who are proficient in at least two languages. Many translators convert text into their native language from English or another second language. This requires that translators have a thorough understanding of the second language. Instruction is provided based upon a student's area of interest within the field of translation.A Certificate in Translation may offer students instruction on translating from one language to another, such as French to English or English to Spanish, or include instruction on general translation techniques.
