Certification TES (CT) - Certification is not available in TES (Teaching English to Speakers); however, certificate programs are available for those interested in teaching English to adults. Several colleges and universities offer accredited TES programs online for individuals with little time to attend on-site courses. exams differ in each state, they all consist of written and clinical skills sections. Each section tests candidates' knowledge of care giving techniques, patient communication skills and safety procedures. Successful examinees are qualified to provide basic patient care in their state of residence.The written portion of a CNA exam generally consists of multiple choice questions, although some states also include reading comprehension questions. These questions cover such topics as hygiene, nutrition, infection control, therapeutic procedures and appropriate workplace conduct. Candidates are also asked psychosocial care questions about the emotional, mental, cultural and spiritual needs of patients. Additionally, questions test candidates' knowledge of patient communication, patient/client rights and ethical behavior.
