Certification Tailor (CT) - Tailors are in business for themselves, and while it's difficult to make a living as a private, professional tailor, it's quite possible. Most have a steady, regular clientele who trust his or her ability and taste.Some workplaces may require a high school diploma or its equivalent to work in this field. Many high schools offer introductory training for tailors. Some elective possibilities may include family and consumer sciences, textiles, fashion design or sewing.
