Certification Mechanic Television (CMT) - Mechanic Television learn the skills of their specific trade through on-the-job training. Some choose to complete an educational program in electronics repair and gain certification. One such program available is the Electronics Technician Certificate program.An electronics technician certificate program can provide individuals with the training and skills necessary to install, repair and maintain all types of electronics products, including TVs, stereos and digital electronics products. Such programs provide students with a foundational understanding of electrical systems, electric circuits, electrical controls and electronics. Students may use the foundational background to gain an entry-level technician position after completing the certificate program.
