B.Sc. Ophthalmic Techniques or Bachelor of Science in Ophthalmic Techniques is an undergraduate Ophthalmology course. Ophthalmic Techniques deal with the medical specialty which diagnose and treate the diseases and disorders of eye by using modern technologies. The duration of B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques is generally three academic years but it may be less or more than this from place to place and may be provided on part time basis by certain institutes. The syllabus for the course is divided into three phases plus some practical. The degree course is an important and career orienting one that opens a lot scopes after its completion.
