Basic Business Finance (BBF) - The aim of the course is to equip students with the necessary knowledge, skills and values to practice sound basic financial management in their enterprises thereby empowering this sector of the economy and ensuring good small business governance. In this course you will learn the basic fundamentals of business finance, identify the sources and types of funding available to today's businesses along with the advantages and disadvantages of each. You will get a breakdown of the financing language by learning definitions of commonly used financial terms; recognize the contents and uses of three important financial reports including: balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
