Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Chemical Engineering (AMIE)

The Institution of Engineers India Limited (IEIL) conducts Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (AMIE) exam for admission to AMIE course. This degree is equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. and all major streams of engineering such as Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical etc are offered. An associate member candidate can take exams like GATE, GRE, Indian Engineering Services, Civil services etc, which makes him eligible for post graduate and higher courses.Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies the natural (or experimental) sciences (e.g., chemistry and physics) and life sciences (e.g. biology, microbiology and biochemistry) together with mathematics and economics to production, transformation, transportation and proper usage of chemicals, materials and energy. It essentially deals with the engineering of chemicals, energy and the processes that create and/or convert them.
