Our Primary Objectives are
To have a course structure that helps the students to understand and be able to apply the underlying principles of Computer Science to a variety of problem domains;
To develop good communication skill among the students so that they can solve problems and communicate their solution;
To provide the students with an understanding and appreciation of the consequences of technology in the society, and of the ethical issues that may arise with new technologies.
The curriculum provides the students with a strong foundation in the software and hardware aspects of computing, as well as it includes the mathematics papers that may help them to choose a research topic in their future.
The lab sessions aim to provide students with strong analytical skills so that they can quickly assess and find ways to solve problems.
Our lab provides the tools to identify problems that can be solved by means of a computer and to design and implement effective, efficient, and creative solutions.
The students are encouraged to do short term projects and an In-Plant training during their vacation time, so that they will have an exposure to work in groups and appreciate the dynamic and collaborative nature of problem solving;
The project works and the inplant training arranged for the students helps them to be equipped with a thorough understanding of the development process of software including design, implementation, documentation, and testing.
