Department of Master of Computer Applications Department of MCA was established in the year 2001 with a sanctioned intake of 60 for a 3-year PG programme, MCA. The department is equipped with excellent infrastructure and a team of experienced faculty members who have versatile interest and involvement to provide quality education in the area of computer and its applications. Students & Faculty At present, the sanctioned intake is 120 in two divisions with 24 experienced faculty members at various capacities such as Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers. Placement The department has a very good placement record and our students have got placed in leading companies like INFOSYS, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Hexaware, etc. The overseas alumina is the strength of the department. To facilitate the students to face the on campus and off campus interview, we provide training in the areas of aptitude, Group Discussions, Personality development and technical skill development and Mock interview, etc. High level interaction is periodically held with the industry experts to keep the students abreast of the latest trends in the field of computers and IT.
