Course Information & Syllabus
Objective of the Course:
To expose the students to the advanced levels of knowledge in different branches of modern mathematics and their applications in various commercial, scientific and technological fields.
To motivate the students to pursue advanced studies and research in Computer Applications.
To encourage the students to carry out the industrial / commercial projects to demonstrate their software development skills acquired during the course.
Eligibiligy:
A candidate who has passed any degree in any discipline of minimum three year duration with mathematics at +2 level or any degree with atleast one paper in Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics at degree level shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree examination of Periyar University after a course of study of three academic years. .
Duration of the Course:
The course for the degree of Master of Computer Applications shall consist of three academic years divided into six semesters. Each semester consist of 90 working days.
