MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION
MCA, is full time three years program approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of INDIA, duly affiliated to U.P.Technical University, Lucknow.
Master of Computer Application (MCA), is a transformation course designed to equip graduates for employment in enterprises applying Information Technology in their different functional areas. The course curriculum of MCA is spread over six semesters. The course content emphasis is on several field visits to offer extensive practical exposure. The Various subjects are covered under the well-established basic functional discipline of Computers & Information Technology. All students of MCA are required to undergo 6 month Industrial Project in their sixth semester.
The course concentrates on creating links between theory and practice in computer domain. It covers a wide variety of software and hardware technologies and their applications. This course is designed to equip students with the fundamental understanding and practical skills needed by the future leaders of computing and related professions. Students get ample opportunities to undertake live projects in renowned IT companies and also get wide industrial exposure by frequent industrial visits and guest lectures by eminent corporate professionals. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to MCA program must be graduates ijn nay discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation level and must have appeared in State Entrance Examination (SEE) conducted by U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. For management quota seats, candidates must have scroed at least 50% aggreate marks in their graduation
