Admission to first year Diploma course

Candidates must have passed Secondary school Examination of Maharshtra State or any other equivalent Examination with (i) General Science, Physics and Chemistry (ii) Elementary Mathematics or Algebra and Geometry, and (iii) English with at least 50% marks in aggregate if he/she is not a Backward class Candidate.In case of Backward class Candidate at least 45% marks in aggregate from any recognized school in Maharshtra State.Is an essential pre requisite. *

Admission to second year Diploma course
The candidate who passed H.S.C. (Science) with Technical/Vocational subjects are eligible for direct admission to second year. The candidates desirous to seek direct admission shall have to obtain eligibility certificate from MSBTE for which they should apply in prescribed format through the Principal.

Admission to third year Diploma course
The candidates who have completed diploma in one discipline (Computer to Electronics Groups) can seek admission to another discipline ( Computer /Electronic groups only) The candidates desirous to seek such admission shall have to obtain eligibility certificate from MSBTE for which they should apply in prescribed format through the Principal.

NATIONALITY
The candidate must be an Indian National.

AGE LIMIT
There shall not be age limit for admission.

RESERVATIONS
As per Government of Maharshtra rules.

FEES
As prescribed by Government of Maharshtra form time to time.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES AND CANCELLATION
As prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharshtra State.

APPLICATION FORM AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

It is necessary that application is made in the prescribed form before the last date of submission expires. No application will be considered unless it accompanies the attested copies of the following documents:

Statements of marks and Certificate of Passing the qualifying examination.
School or college Leaving Certificate signed by Head Master or the Principal of the Institute in which the student was last enrolled.
Certificate of passing Intermediate Grade examination wherever applicable.
Caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
Certificate issued by the competent authority stating that the candidate’s parents do not belong to creamy layer, as per orders of Government.
Certificate of good conduct and character from the Head of the Institute last attended.
Certificate of participation on Inter school / College sports and extra curricular activities from district sports officer.
The requisite certificate from the competent authority in case of candidate claiming the other concessions mentioned elsewhere in this prospectus.

NOTE

Copies of the Certificate attached to the application form should be attested by the principal of the college or Head Master of the Secondary school or Gazetted Officer or any competent officer authorized by the Government.

Original Certificates will have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application before the Admission Committee.
The application or any of the certificates submitted after the last date prescribed for this purpose shall not be entertained.
Any attempt of canvassing directly or indirectly for admission will results in disqualification.

CODE OF CONDUCT
The students while studying in the Institute, if found indulging in anti-national activities contrary to the provisions of Acts and Laws enforced by Government or in any activity contrary to rules of discipline, will be liable to be expelled from the Institute without any notice by the Principal of the Institute.

Action against ragging
Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999, which is in effect from 15th May 1999, has the following provisions for Action against Ragging.

Ragging within or outside of any educational institution is prohibited.
Whosoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets, or propagates raging within or outside any educational institution shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term up to 2 years and / or penalty, which may extend to ten thousand rupees.
Any student convicted of an offence of ragging shall be dismissed from the educational institution and such student shall not be admitted in any other educational institution for a period of five years from the date of order of such dismissal.
