    Interior Design courses are highly job oriented and have high demand in India as well as in Gulf countries, South East Asia, Europe and developed countries like U.S.A. Students can easily get employment, as there is acute shortage of professionals in this field.They can take up employment with Designers, Builders, Promoters and Manufacturers / Dealers of various Interior Decoration materials. They can also be self-employed and can start independent consultation business, take up contracts and turn key projects in the field of Interior Design after completing the course.

    The emphasis today is on making the working and living environment elegant and comfortable. The job covers a gamut of operations from conceptualising to completion of the design for the Interiors / Layouts of Offices, Shops, Showrooms and Residences. It involves Planning, Designing, Cost Estimation and Implementation. An Interior Designer will also be responsible for keeping track of lighting, colour scheme as well as co-ordinating with clients, suppliers, workers at the site. Creativity is the key here as individuals, companies and retail outlets in particular, are willing to invest to create the right environment.
