Mechanical engineers are required in automobile, chemical, electronics, steel plants, oil exploration and refining, technical wings of armed forces, space research organisation, etc. B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering (ME) : Seats 60 Eligibility HS (10+2) Science or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology having passed in each of the subjects with 45% marks in the above subjects taken together(40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/ Minority) Criteria for Selection B.Tech Programme : (i) Rank in ERDF CET OR (ii) Vaild AIEEE Score (upto 15% of total Intake) OR (iii) Nomination by the concerned Directorate of Technical & Higher Education Fee Structure( For Mechanical & Civil Engineering)
