Has competent faclty with rich experience. The maximum intake of students is only 32. Spacious and well equipped General, Physical, Electronics & Microprocessor Laboratories. Cent percent results in almost all the papers Since the inception, many students have secured university ranks. The Department of Physics started its activities on October 8, 2009 with a lecture by Prof. M. Arul Thalapathy from Government Arts College, Nandanam. He enthused students by talking about Development of Science and Technology in the future. An Inter-collegiate Physics Fest “Reverbertions 2010” was organized on 3rd of February, 2010. It was an event graciously co-sponsored by the Alumnae. More than 20 colleges took part and competitions like Power-Point Presentations, Collage, Cross-word Puzzle in Physics were conducted. Dr. Rani Chistudas, Head, Department of Physics, The Ethiraj College for Women inaugurated the Physics Fest.
